
Casablanca: MASI slips 0.11% as Cosumar posts a 17.3% Q1 revenue drop
The MASI closed down 0.11% at 18,563.4 points on June 3, while the MASI 20 fell 0.1% to 1,316.32, the MASI ESG lost 0.23% to 1,364.67 and the MASI Mid and Small Cap slipped 0.13% to 1,879.13. The decline followed a modest gain on June 1, according to Medias24, and came after a 1.79% drop on June 2, while Oulmès jumped 5.6% on June 3 and EQDOM rose 6% on June 2, according to analyst notes. Cosumar reported consolidated revenue of 2.2 billion dirhams in Q1 2026, down 17.3%, hit by lower prices and weather conditions, according to EcoActu and L'Economiste. On the corporate side, Managem consolidated control over the Tendrara gas project, LesEco.ma reported, Label’Vie is preparing a new bond issue to speed up expansion, Financial Afrik reported, and LafargeHolcim Maroc adopted the name “Holcim Maroc,” according to Aujourd'hui le Maroc.
