
MASI falls 1.18% as Cosumar invests MAD 500 mln and Cash Plus readies instant transfers
The MASI closed down 1.18% at 17,391.2 points on April 7, while the MASI Mid and Small Cap fell 1.57% to 1,796.62 and the MASI ESG dropped 1.55% to 1,214.1. Selling pressure was broader than among blue chips, with the MASI 20 down a milder 0.78% at 1,300.88, while Delta Holding rose 4.7% despite the market decline, according to analyst notes. On the corporate front, Cosumar launched a food-grade liquid CO2 production unit in Casablanca, with more than MAD 500 million invested to cut import dependence, according to Le Matin.ma and laquotidienne.ma. In financial services, Cash Plus is preparing to launch an instant bank transfer service, Medias24 reports, while Telquel.ma says Attijariwafa bank posted growth driven by diversification and expansion.
