
MASI rises 2.66% as Cosumar highlights 281,000 tons and MAD 500 mln
The MASI closed up 2.66% at 19,238.41 points on April 17, while the MASI 20 rose 3.21% to 1,422.8 and the MASI Mid and Small Cap gained 2.65% to 1,978.31. For the week of April 13-17, the MASI advanced 2.66%, with Marsa Maroc and SGTM leading the rotation, according to analyst reports. On the corporate side, Cosumar highlighted sugar output of 281,000 tons and a MAD 500 million liquid CO2 project, alongside higher results and what sources described as promising prospects, according to Le Desk, EcoActu.ma and La Vie éco. Separately, ASMEX allied with Attijariwafa Bank and the government to support Moroccan exporters in Africa at an AfCFTA trade finance summit, lopinion.ma reported.
